Świdnica’s manor park: benches, paths and a museum setting

The manor before the museum

The Kietlicz manor in Świdnica dates from 1602 and is associated with the architect Alberto Antonio of Urbino. The surrounding park developed later, in the eighteenth century. The manor is now connected with the Archaeological Museum of the Middle Oder region.

This is Świdnica in Lubusz, near Zielona Góra, rather than the larger city of the same name in Lower Silesia.

Take the paths slowly

We would move between the white benches, gazebo and educational boards rather than make a fast circuit. The gallery shows open paths and places to stop around the grounds. An interior museum visit adds another part of the day, if its current programme suits your interests.
