A reason to pause here
The standing stones and curves across the grass draw our attention to the Peace Bells Garden. These April photographs give us a quiet stop near Krakus Mound, although we would check the site’s present arrangement before expecting every feature to remain in place.
A modern garden near the quarry
The local Podgórze association documented the garden’s creation in 2006 near Krakus Mound and Liban Quarry. The design drew on megalithic forms, with stone circles and a peace-bell project. It belongs to a modern initiative rather than an ancient archaeological site.
Follow the curves in the grass
The standing stones and curved arrangement in our photographs make us want to pause on the walk. We would look at the spaces between them without assuming every feature remains as it was in April. The mound can be the next stop on an ordinary walking route.
Plan the visit
Check the present on-site arrangement and any access notices before expecting a complete maintained garden. Keep clear of the quarry’s hazardous edges and do not use informal descents towards Liban. The photographs document a visit, not a guarantee of current facilities.
