The courtyard and wall pictures give us reasons to consider a pause at 2 Okna. Our photographs move between the room and its planted outdoor corner, so we would choose a table around the weather and the café’s current opening.
A café among the older Kazimierz buildings
The Kraków Convention Bureau lists 2 Okna Café & Bistro at Józefa 40, in a former communal building between neighbouring Jewish heritage sites. Its current café and artistic use belongs to the street’s present-day life. The exact age of a wall should not be inferred from our interior photographs.

We would look at the wall pictures, then see whether the weather suits the planted outdoor corner. Our gallery gives both spaces attention. A café pause can leave time to notice the High Synagogue exterior nearby without rushing the rest of the street.
