Bunkier Sztuki catches our attention from the pavement with its concrete frontage. The three photographs leave the exhibitions unseen, which is a useful reason to look at the gallery’s current programme before making a visit.

A purpose-built exhibition pavilion

The gallery’s pavilion opened in 1965, designed by Krystyna Tołłoczko-Różyska. It belongs to Kraków’s postwar architecture, with older fabric incorporated into the complex. The concrete frontage has a different building history from the townhouses and Palace of Art nearby.
