Cricoteka makes us want to walk around the building before going inside. In the photographs, the older structure sits beneath the raised museum, and each turn changes the view of brick, glass and the river beside it.

Kantor’s work in a changed power-station setting

Tadeusz Kantor, who lived from 1915 to 1990, worked in Kraków and founded Cricoteka to preserve and present his theatre work. Its riverside home combines the former Podgórze power station with a later structure raised above it. Exhibitions use objects, sketches, recordings and other materials from the artist’s work.
