Leave time for the woodland
Liliowy Las puts the exercise bars among the pine trunks. We like the idea of a woodland walk with an optional short stop at the equipment, leaving enough attention for the sandy paths and other people using the forest.
A protected green area since 2015
Liliowy Las became a protected nature and landscape complex in January 2015, following a city council resolution in December 2014. The regional conservation inventory places it between Botaniczna, Nowojędrzychowska and Liliowa streets and describes both its wildlife habitat and recreational use.
The exercise frames belong to the way people use the woodland today. The protection date does not establish when individual workout stations were installed.
A path with an optional pause
We like the pine trunks as much as the equipment here. The stone name marker helps identify the woodland, and the sandy paths set an unhurried pace before reaching the bars.
Read the instruction panels at a station before using it. Then continue the walk instead of making the equipment the only reason to visit. Leave the forest floor and planting around the paths undisturbed.
Plan the visit
Follow local closures and the rules for the protected area. Sandy ground, roots and fallen branches make footing different from a paved city park. The gallery does not confirm step-free access along a complete route or staffed facilities.
- Use established paths through the woodland.
- Check instructions and the condition of each exercise station.
