The depot before the museum

The museum occupies Kraków’s oldest horse-drawn and electric tram depot, built in stages in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The site relates to the city’s transport development from horse trams, introduced in 1882, to electric services and later buses.

Give the exhibits their own time

Our one photograph shows the approach, so we would reserve a separate part of the day for the collections. Choose the exhibition that interests your group rather than expect the whole history to be visible from the entrance. The depot buildings are part of the story as well as their contents.

Plan the visit

Check current exhibitions, workshops, admission and access with the museum. Its outdoor Garden of Experiences is a different site in the Polish Aviators Park, not the courtyard of this Kazimierz depot. Confirm workshop reservations separately.
