Jagodowe Wzgórze singletrack: a narrow line through the trees

Follow the dirt line with your eyes first

The narrow line through the trees is what draws us towards Jagodowe Wzgórze’s singletrack. The timber features also make us want to check the route before riding it, choosing a line we can handle in the conditions on the day.

A hill given its name in 2001

The local forest district records the naming of Jagodowe Wzgórze on 8 April 2001, during an outing led by Mirosława Sobecka. The name belongs to the recent recreational history of the wooded hills around Zielona Góra.

Our photographs show narrow dirt riding lines and timber features. The naming date does not date those features or establish their current maintenance status.

Choose a line that suits the conditions

The track disappears between tree trunks, which is what makes these photographs inviting to us. Before riding a built feature, look at its entry and exit and see whether the surface and landing are clear. Walking past a feature is a reasonable choice.

Leave room for other forest users at junctions and on wider approaches. The gallery gives a feel for the terrain, while a current route map and signs are needed to connect the sections.

Plan the visit

Check local forest notices and any trail closures before visiting. Roots, loose soil and wet timber change the ride. Follow the route’s signs and use only open, permitted riding lines; the photographs are not a maintained route or a difficulty rating.
